The hydrocollator heating element can become worn and prone to breakage, have no current or just isn’t heating in general.<\/h4>\n

If you’re having problems with your heating ele., the heat will not engage even if the unit is on, meaning the water will be room temperature (Or wont increase in temperature at all)<\/h4>\n

We ALWAYS recommend changing the Heating ele. (10630)<\/a>, Thermostat (10631)<\/a> and Over-temp switch (20548) at the same time, if your unit is not heating, due to the fact that the units are regulated by all three. When replacing the Heat Ele., you also have to remove the thermostat and the Over-temp switch, thus making it more convenient to replace them all at once and will save on shipping and prevent future problems with the unit. (if the heating element went out due to the thermostat having a malfunction.<\/h4>\n
