Description
Chattanooga E-1 Hydrocollator Heating Unit – PN 2102
The Chattanooga E-1 Hydrocollator Heating Unit is a compact stationary moist-heat unit designed for professional rehabilitation, physical therapy, chiropractic, sports medicine and clinical treatment environments. Chattanooga item 2102 provides a dependable supply of temperature-consistent HotPacs while taking up considerably less space than larger Hydrocollator models.
Constructed from durable stainless steel, the E-1 is designed for routine clinical use and requires no plumbing connection for operation. The thermostatically controlled system maintains the water temperature between approximately 160°F and 165°F (71°C–74°C).
Compact Stationary Hydrocollator
With dimensions of approximately 13″ L × 8″ W × 16″ H, the Chattanooga E-1 is particularly well suited for facilities that need Hydrocollator moist-heat capability without the footprint of a larger mobile heating unit.
The E-1 has an approximate 3-gallon tank capacity with HotPacs installed and weighs approximately 15 lb. Its compact stationary configuration allows the unit to be positioned on an appropriate countertop or treatment-area surface.
Includes Four Chattanooga Standard HotPacs
Chattanooga item 2102 includes:
- 1 Chattanooga E-1 Hydrocollator Heating Unit
- 4 Standard HotPacs – PN 1006
This allows a facility to begin using the unit without purchasing the initial Standard HotPacs separately.
Thermostatically Controlled Heating
The E-1 uses thermostatic temperature control to maintain the water at the proper operating range for Chattanooga HotPacs.
The manufacturer specifies:
- Operating temperature: 160–165°F
- Thermal cut-out temperature: 180–185°F
- Approximate heat-up time to 160°F: 2 hours
- Power consumption: 1000 watts
- Power requirement: 110–120V, 50/60 Hz
The unit also incorporates automatic protection against overheating or operation with an insufficient water level.
Durable Stainless-Steel Construction
Like Chattanooga’s larger Hydrocollator heating units, the E-1 features stainless-steel construction designed for durability, straightforward cleaning and long-term use in professional treatment environments.
Its smaller footprint makes the E-1 especially useful for practices that don’t require the capacity of an M-2, M-4 or other larger Hydrocollator.

Why Choose the E-1 Hydrocollator?
The Chattanooga E-1 Hydrocollator is a good choice for clinics that need a genuine Chattanooga HotPac heating unit but don’t need the capacity or floor space of a larger mobile Hydrocollator.
Its combination of a small footprint, four included Standard HotPacs, stainless-steel construction and automatic temperature control makes the E-1 particularly useful for smaller practices, individual treatment areas and facilities with lower HotPac volume.
