Replacement Thermostat for hydrocollators E-1, E-2, SS-2, M-2
The hydrocollator thermostat can become worn and prone to breakage, no-current or just isn’t allowing the heating element to heat properly.
Hydrocollators will have little heat or have “warm” water when a broken thermostat is suspected.
We ALWAYS recommend changing the Heating Elemen t(10630), and Overtemp Switch (20548) as well as the thermo-stat, due to the fact that you have to remove the heating element and overtemp switch to remove the Part. (They can go out around the same time and you already have to remove them.)
The thermo. controls the temperature of the water. It is located near the bottom of the unit on the control panel. It has been tested and preset at the factory to normal operating temperature. If further adjustment is necessary, it can be easily accomplished by turning the adjusting screw located on the thermostat. (We recommend a service technician perform this action).
