The Chattanooga Primera 77615 brings two types of electrical stimulation together in a compact, handheld unit. With dedicated TENS and NMES programs, the Primera provides options for temporary pain relief and stimulation of healthy muscles to support muscle performance. Its portable design and included accessories make it a convenient option for prescribed use.
14 Preset Programs for TENS and NMES
The Primera includes 8 TENS programs and 6 NMES programs, allowing users to select the appropriate program as directed by their healthcare professional. TENS options include continuous, burst, modulated, and HAN modes.
TENS programs are intended for temporary relief of muscle aches in the lower back, arms, or legs related to strain or routine household activity. The NMES programs stimulate healthy muscles to help improve muscle performance. Program selection and electrode placement should follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the prescribing professional’s guidance.
HAN Waveform Technology
The HAN TENS waveform alternates between low-frequency stimulation at 2 Hz and higher-frequency stimulation at 70 Hz. This provides an additional stimulation pattern alongside the Primera’s continuous, burst, and modulated TENS options.
Dual-Channel Design and Built-In Monitoring
The Primera uses two electrically isolated channels and constant-current output. A low-battery indicator alerts the user when battery power is running low. The unit also monitors for an open electrode circuit and resets the affected channel’s output to zero when one is detected.
Complete Primera Kit
The Chattanooga Primera 77615 kit includes the Primera stimulator, two lead wires, Dura-Stick electrodes, a 9-volt battery, an electrode positioning back belt, a carrying case, and a user’s manual. The case keeps the unit and accessories together between sessions, while the belt assists with electrode positioning for lower-back applications.
