21023 – Hydrocollator thermostat to heating element bracket – Screw included

 

 

 

Instructions:

 

 

Ensure safety: Before starting any maintenance work, make sure the Hydrocollator is unplugged and cooled down to avoid any accidents.

 

 

Gather necessary tools: You will need a screwdriver, replacement heating element bracket, and any additional parts that are needed to repair the unit.

 

 

Remove the old bracket: Locate the heating element bracket, which is usually located near the bottom of the Hydrocollator.

 

Use the screwdriver to carefully remove the screws holding the brack. in place. Take note of the position and orientation of the bracket for easy installation of the new one.

 

 

 

Replace with new:

 

Take the new heating element bracket and align it with the same position and orientation as the old one. Secure it in place using the screws and the screwdriver. Make sure the bracket is tightly fastened to ensure proper functioning.

 

 

 

Test the Hydrocollator: Plug in the Hydrocollator and turn it on to test if the new part is working correctly. Allow it to heat up for a few minutes and check for any abnormalities or malfunctions.

 

 

 

Clean and maintain: While performing maintenance, take the opportunity to clean the Hydrocollator’s exterior and interior surfaces. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

 

 

It is recommended to use:
  1. 3 parts white vinegar and 1 part water
  2. Scrubbing the unit with NON-SCOURING AGENT (NO BRILLO-PADS OR ANY TYPE OF STEEL WOOL IF NOT, THE UNIT WILL RUST. 
  3. Rinse Unit out until there is no more left-over smell or residue. 
  4. Replace hotpacs back into the unit.
  5. If unit is being repaired for an extended amount of time, please take hotpacs out and make sure they dry. Place your hotpacs in a plastic bag, place them in a freezer to prevent any bacteria, which would require purchasing new hotpacs.

 

 

 

Regular inspections: It is recommended to inspect the heating element brack. periodically to identify any signs of wear or damage. If any issues are detected, follow the same steps mentioned above.
